Patrick, thank you for checking in. I received the furniture today ... it's beautiful.  And thank you for being square in your dealings. I had a $5K internet purchase run off the rails a few years ago and have since been a little sensitive to signals that might suggest something's awry.

Wanted to thank you folks so much.....picked up the bed this past Thursday and finally had time Sunday to put it together. simply can't express properly how thrilled we are with this bed you folks have presented us with...purchases over the internet can be a tricky thing....international arrangements even more potentially problematic but the communication has been outstanding....we heard our piece was ready a full six weeks (at least) before we expected to and the updates and status reports provided even through the holiday kept us abreast of precisely where the two crates were...the bed itself is extraordinary....far more stout than we anticipated though that is less a commentary on low expectation than it seems. platform beds commonly available in the states are typically designed to carry futons....the size of the wood stock, design and quality of construction all reflect that. our teak bed is comparatively well engineered....massive stock, elegantly presented and exceptionally engineered. beautiful, beautiful.....beautiful. ..we were first attracted to the bed design and function and completely won over by your business ethic of sourcing reclaimed stock... very noble as the native forests in your region are otherwise being ravaged by both domestic and international interests. we will share this experience with friends and family and hope to turn others on to your work. as soon as we can budget for it....we are hoping to order a couple end-tables and perhaps a dresser or two....sometime later this year hopefully.

After doing some tracking down this evening, I located the shipping company and secured my bed this evening. It was packed very nicely and was received in good order.

I must say, it was definitely worth the wait. It is absolutely gorgeous! It's weight and girth impresses me as well. Quality throughout, I am certain. Pictures and written explanation simply don't do it justice. Now that I understand this situation better (i.e., the quality you provide, given the necessary amount of lead time), I will hope to plan out future furniture purchases and look to you guys first.

Hello, just wanted to let you know we got our furniture. The quality is outstanding. I have not set up the bed yet, nor can I do so, until our remodel is done. (All those pieces scare me a bit but I should be able to figure it out.) Getting it out of the warehouse was easy, unpacking all those crates was not. I will admit I was very apprehensive buying $3000.00 of furniture sight unseen over the internet, especially when the credit card company called us to make sure we wanted to authorize the payment. The wait was long and worth it. Thank you for making the process smooth. Our only complaint is the color we chose, it is much redder and darker than we anticipated and than it looked in the picture, but we can live with it. We just won't get red sheets for the bed.

The stuff looks great! very happy! chairs are very comfortable just like you said. the only feedback i have would be to include an extra bolt for the table to connect the legs with. one broke in shipment and i had hell finding a metric bolt that size!

We love our furniture, our room looks great. I forgot to tell you that my sister and brother-in-law loved the serving tray (which was a Hanukah gift). They own a boat with teak interiors. The tray looks exactly like the flooring inside the boat.
