Policy
Due to the nature of the purchase of such furniture goods from our
Website, ‘made to order furniture’ or ‘custom made furniture’ together
with the expense of shipping from Indonesia and importing into USA it is
not feasible for Teak-Collection.Com to offer a returns policy.
We are in the business of custom made furniture, we want your business
but we are not a department store. Our pricing does not reflect the 150%
- 200% mark-ups some retailers charge that make for no questions asked,
easy returns. Please consider your purchase carefully. Most products we
sell are made to order and do not exist until you ‘contract with us’ to
have them made.
If you believe a return is your only solution, we expect you to pay for
the shipping charges both ways. We will also impose a restocking charge.
Our restocking charge is 50% of the original purchase price. The
restocking charge is merely to cover our costs to enable us to sell your
returned items to someone else. After thoughtful consideration we have
chosen this policy rather than higher prices for everyone. This returns
policy does not apply to made-to-order or custom made furniture.
Upon your agreement of our return charges we will authorize the return
of the merchandise. Teak-Collection.Com will issue shipping instructions
which must be used with such returns. Goods must be in "as new"
condition with no evidence of use or damage. We expect that returned
merchandise will be packed in the same manner as it was received by you.
If upon inspection the returned product is freight damaged because of
careless packing on your part your refund may be delayed or adjusted.
The shipping charge both ways are not refundable or are they available
for credit. |
